About This Position

Extensia is a cloud-based fundraising and donor relationship management platform built exclusively for U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Our GTM team runs structured weekly content and email campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, and email — all aimed at helping nonprofit administrators run better events, build stronger donor relationships, and serve their communities more effectively.

We need someone to own the operational layer of that outreach: scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and reporting. This is a real contributor role. You'll work directly with our content and strategy leads, load and launch campaigns in GoHighLevel (GHL), maintain publishing logs, produce branded visuals, and deliver weekly performance summaries. If you're organized, self-directed, and comfortable with AI tools and marketing automation, you'll build a meaningful portfolio here fast — while contributing to outreach that positively shapes nonprofit communities across the country.

Internships welcome. This role is open to current students seeking internship arrangements. If you're looking for structured, hands-on marketing experience with real campaign ownership, we encourage you to apply and note your internship interest in your cover letter.

What You'll Be Doing

Content Scheduling & Publishing
  • Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (Twitter) per a pre-defined weekly calendar.
  • Deploy email campaigns through GoHighLevel (GHL) — load copy, configure audience segments, set send times, and launch.
  • Monitor deliverability and flag issues such as low open rates or engagement drops for review.
  • Maintain a publishing log tracking what was sent, when, and to which audience.
Visual Content & Brand Assets
  • Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, or equivalent) to generate and refine post visuals and copy within brand guidelines.
  • Build and maintain branded templates for social cards, email headers, and promotional graphics.
  • Adapt content format and tone for LinkedIn vs. Facebook vs. X.
  • Source or create supporting images for social posts as needed.
Campaign Operations & Reporting
  • Load and configure GHL email campaigns including audience selection, scheduling, and A/B subject line variants.
  • Build and update GHL automation workflows under guidance — welcome sequences, follow-up triggers, and similar.
  • Pull post-send reports from GHL and summarize open rates, click rates, and unsubscribes.
  • Monitor social channels and report on reach, engagement, and email metrics weekly.
  • Flag underperforming posts, high-unsubscribe emails, or accounts with engagement drops.
  • Compile weekly performance summaries for internal review.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related program.
  • Hands-on experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) — must be demonstrable; tutorials alone are not sufficient.
  • Active user of AI tools for content generation (ChatGPT, Canva AI, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing or posting to LinkedIn, Facebook, and X on behalf of a brand or organization — not just personal use.
  • Strong written English — you will be editing and adapting copy, not copy-pasting.
  • Organized and self-directed; able to follow a content calendar without daily reminders.
  • Reliable internet and a device capable of running browser-based tools without interruption.
  • Familiarity with the nonprofit sector — its operational language, funding structure, and donor-centric communication — is a meaningful advantage.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or visual design tools preferred.
  • Basic video editing for social-format clips (Reels, short-form) is a plus.
  • Prior freelance or contract content work — even for student organizations — preferred.

Why Join Us

Extensia serves nonprofits that run hospitals, schools, rescue missions, cultural organizations, and community programs. When our outreach lands well, it helps those organizations raise more money, retain more donors, and serve more people. The work you do in this role has a direct downstream effect on communities across the country.

We're a small, focused team. You won't shadow campaigns — you'll run them. Every piece you publish, every report you compile, and every workflow you configure contributes to a GTM operation that is genuinely trying to simplify fundraising for organizations doing meaningful work.
